Yes, progressives, I’m talking to you
The last time I wrote on the topic of why the left is so smart and yet so dumb was two months prior to the 2020 Presidential election. I began by asking Democrats to imagine that Donald Trump won a second term.
One year since Joe Biden was elected, and sports a 42% approval rating, I’m asking them to imagine it again. Except, since the Democratic party has split in two, I’m now directing the thought experiment to progressives.
Tuesday’s elections didn’t go so well for the blue team, particularly in Virginia. And what has become known as Critical Race Theory was a key issue in that state’s race for governor in which Republican Glenn Youngkin defeated Democrat Terry McAuliffe, flipping control of a state that Biden won handily just a year ago.
How did this happen?
I hate to break it to progressives, but it originated with you. As much as you’d like to perpetuate the narrative that Trump-loving Republicans started this whole CRT fervor, the fact is they didn’t.
